First call for abstract submission

IAHR and the Congress Organising Group invite you to take part in the 39th IAHR World Congress ‘From Snow to Sea’ to be held in Granada, Spain, from 19 to 24 June 2022. The Congress aims to provide scientists, engineers, organisations, central and local authorities, companies, and young professionals early in their careers a stimulating opportunity to share and discuss recent advances and experiences and identify innovative and emerging trends in hydro-environmental science and engineering. Organized around eight themes (https://iahr2021.org/themes/), aiming to provide an integrative and interdisciplinary platform where science, engineering and societal policy can meet, the Congress will bring together the water science, engineering and management communities to help address the world’s most pressing water challenges. The 2022 Congress promises to be both exciting and fulfilling for everyone. Your active participation will be the basis of this Congress’ success, and we look forward to receiving your original contributions. We are pleased to announce that the online abstract submission process is now open and accessible here: https://iahr2021.org/abstracts/ where you can also find details about the preliminary programme. The abstract submission deadline is 15 November 2021. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and the Congress International Scientific Committee (ISC) will inform contributors if their abstract has been selected by December 2021. Authors will then have a two-month period to submit their extended abstracts, after which they will be reviewed for final acceptance. Guidelines for abstract submission

The submission deadline ends on 1 October 2021 at 23:59h (UTC +1). Your abstract must be submitted through the Online Submission Form on this webpage. Each corresponding author can submit a maximum of 2 abstracts. Each author can be set as presenting author in a maximum of 2 abstracts. Please note that for the abstract to be included in the congress, the presenting author of every accepted abstract must be fully registered in the indicated time. A limit of two abstracts per registered presenting author will be allowed. Your abstract must be inserted in the text box available on the Online Submission Form; please make sure you add your abstract’s keywords at the time of submission. A maximum of 5 keywords will be allowed. All abstracts must be submitted in English. Your abstract must be 450 words max. Please make sure you select the theme or subtheme to which your abstract belongs. You can check the list of topics prior to your submission here. Make sure you select your presentation type preference. Please note the Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the final form of the presentation. A submission receipt is automatically sent to the corresponding author (author submitting the abstract) right after submission. Should you not receive this email, please contact the Technical Secretariat so we can check to make sure your submission went through correctly. Should your abstract be accepted, you will need to submit the extended version of it before 24 February 2022. Instructions on its submission will be provided at a later stage.
