Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The 39th IAHR World Congress Organising Committee would like to remind you that the new dates for the Congress are 19-24 June 2022 and that the event will take place at the same venue in Granada, Spain.
As the IAHR World Congress organisers, we are very much concerned about the health and safety of all attendees, however, we are convinced that in 2022 we will be able to meet again in person in the wonderful and welcoming city of Granada and celebrate this new edition of the IAHR World Congress as normally as possible.
We would like to reassure you that we will be taking every necessary precaution for the event by following the recommendations of the World Health Organisation as well as those given by the local health authorities in Spain. Following the expertise of health officials and regulators, the 39th IAHR World Congress will adopt new policies and procedures both before and during the event to minimize any risk and maximize the health and well-being of their attendees.
We are exploring the most appropriate options as well as taking all safety and risk management measures according to the WHO travel guidelines, which include a sanitary plan for preventive care. Furthermore, all relevant partners will be well prepared in case of COVID-19 Virus suspicion, and trained personnel on-site will be ready to assist each day of the Congress.
Also, the Congress Venue in Granada will go above and beyond the Spanish government guidelines to guarantee safety and increase the confidence of all participants and visitors.
Closer to the Congress we will be regularly posting updates on the COVID-19 situation in Spain to communicate to attendees and staff all requirements and responsibilities before and during the event.
